STAR QUILT BLOCK PATTERNS

A growing selections of star quilt block patterns. Do keep checking back as I add to this list regularly.  Stars can be made in so many different ways that it’s a real treat to be able to see the variety as shown below.  Click on the photo to link to the pattern you are interested in.

I couldn’t decide how to split my quilt block patterns in order to spread them out a bit better, but the first and most obvious category that can be hived off is star quilt block patterns.  There are so many wonderful ways to make star quilt blocks, from the very simple nine patch quilt block up to some quite complex stars.  I haven’t graded these according to difficulty but I hope you enjoy taking a look at some of the enormous variety of star quilt block patterns.

    Hello Rose-
Just recently you posted a quilt of log cabin blocks; it made a large star. You also showed several other lay-outs.

I tried to go back and check material yardage…..and it has disappeared from my computer! Is there any way I can get “back issues” of your posts ?

    cheers,

    Sharon

Hello, Rose! I finally got around to copying/printing some of these star patterns to ‘play’ with & combine or a quilt idea I had. One of the patterns I had been interested in just seems to be linked to it’s picture & not the instructions — the Yankee star chain quilt block pattern. Id there any chance you might have a direct link to it? BTW, I do SO appreciate your helpful hints, patterns, etc. that you share!!! Have a great day!

    • Hi Ruth. I’ve added the link now. I must have forgotten that stage when I made the quilt block. Thanks for letting me know.

    • Hi Maxine. Welcome to the website. I’ve had a look and you still need to confirm – you will have had an email asking you to click on the link to confirm. I’m afraid that this is something that I can’t do – only you can do it.
